Problem Scenario

I am going to soak eggs in two solutions for twenty four, then let them sit for about an hour. Then I am going to soak them in tooth whitener for fourteen minutes, then see how white the eggs actually turn.

Experimental Design

First I will take six eggs and put them in two groups. One group is soaked in cola, the other in cranberry juice. They will be soaked for twenty four hours. After they are soaked, they will be taken out and let to dry. Once they are dry l will take pictures of them. I put the S.D card in the computer and selected from random spots on the egg. I then found the Luminosity and saturation of the eggs. I averaged the numbers for each egg and then averaged the numbers for each group. Those groups were graphed.

Benefit to Community and/or Science

People always want to make there teeth white, and if I can count the effectiveness, I will have the solution to cleaner teeth, and I will also have the solution to the better drink to drink; juice, or soda.
